Genesis Tutors is a small tutoring and alternative provision provider committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner. As a newly established organisation, we recognise the importance of reducing environmental impact and are committed to implementing sustainable working practices as the business grows.

Due to the current size and nature of the organisation, Genesis Tutors does not yet produce emissions at a level requiring a formal published Carbon Reduction Plan under PPN 06/21 reporting thresholds. However, we actively take steps to minimise our carbon footprint through the delivery model and day-to-day operations of the business.

A significant proportion of provision is delivered online, which reduces travel-related emissions for both tutors and pupils. Where face-to-face tuition is required, sessions are arranged within local community settings to minimise unnecessary travel distances. Digital systems are used wherever possible to reduce paper usage, including electronic communication, online learning resources and digital record keeping.

Genesis Tutors also aims to reduce energy consumption through remote working practices and efficient use of equipment. Resources are reused where possible and unnecessary printing is avoided.

As the organisation develops, Genesis Tutors is committed to monitoring environmental impact and reviewing opportunities to introduce a more formal Carbon Reduction Plan aligned with government guidance and reporting standards. This will include ongoing consideration of travel emissions, energy use and sustainable procurement practices.
